Week 6 - Love & Connection

Hello @everyone! This week's theme is about relationships, emotion, and the quiet (or loud) moments that bring people, places, and even ideas together.

Love doesn’t have to be romantic, and connection doesn’t have to be obvious. Often, the most powerful images are the subtle ones.

Ideas & inspiration:

• ❤️ Couples, families, friendships, or shared moments between people.
• 🤝 Human connection: gestures, hands, eye contact, body language.
• 🐾 Bonds with animals or pets.
• 🏡 Connection to place: home, familiar streets, meaningful locations.
• 🪟 Implied connection: distance, separation, reflections, or absence.

Photography tips:

• Focus on emotion, not perfection. A moment matters more than technical flaws.
• Watch for small gestures. Hands, posture, and proximity tell stories.
• Use light to support the mood. Soft light often works beautifully here.
• Give your subject space. Not every image needs to be tightly framed.

Love and connection are universal. Images like these can stop people scrolling, make them pause, and feel something. A single photograph can remind someone of a person, a memory, or a feeling they didn’t realise they were carrying.
